I don’t know how this is provable, but the scandinavian scientist sure believes it, and it does not agree with the global warming propaganda (and don’t forget, in the 1970s they warned that we were on the verge of a new ice age {in 1975 Newsweek predicted a New Ice age was upon us); and since no one believed that, I guess they decided they would try the polar opposite lie… and now it is cow farts that are the greatest danger and you should eat every manner of creeping and flying insect abominations to prevent the ocean levels from rising… smear some feces on your face and hop around on one foot barking like a dog every full moon, that will help too… if you REALLY CARE…!

they explain global warming by “el Niño”; then when it is pointed out that we are experiencing colder temperatures, the claim “La Niña”

Yes, it is getting dangerously warmer, and that is proved by the fact it is actually colder.

All that is accomplished is that BILLIONS of taxpayer money is illegally spent for mad scientists to concoct yet another hare-brained “threat”, which they will then use to tell you how much water your toilet tank can hold, or whether you must eat beef or bugs…. and again, the billionaires and world leaders so concerned about global warming and everyone’s carbon footprint, never take a canoe or sailboat to the next world summit meeting, but all fly on their own private jets… and the electric bill of one of their numerous mansions (which they jet to, back and forth) in a month, even when they are not living in it, probably surpasses the electric bills of 10 normal families for a whole year… and in a previous email, I showed how much fuel a single battleship, air craft carrier, or fighter jet uses; and how many are in the fleet… it is mind boggling… and of course, the pollution created by the billion people in India and China (in china in major cities, the smog is so bad people wear respirators, order cannisters of air from Canada, and can’t see across the city street from one side to the other) is completely unaffected by American’s turning their thermostats to a less comfortable temperature (and I am not saying people should be wasteful; I am the epitome of thrift and stewardship, I don’t turn the heat on until it is 37 F outside)… and even if Americans all used less electricity and curtailed their gas vehicle usage, one belch from a volcano undoes the entire world’s efforts of being “green friendly” for the whole previous year.

However, I have said in previous emails that photos alone prove nothing… for water levels may change depending upon the season, time of day, how close or far away the moon is from earth, etc., and such water levels can esily rise and fall 10 feet or more (and storm surges make it even greater a change)… in fact, While the earth’s average height variation in sea level from (daily) tides is three feet, the water level near Wolfville, in Nova Scotia’s Minas Basin can be as much as 53 feet (16 meters) higher than at low tide.

but… the fact that Miss Liberty is not fitted with a snorkel and a speargun would seem to indicate that the water levels have not changed in 100 years as any visit to Ellis Island can discover.

many other places around the world can also be compared (Gibraltar, Helgoland, Miami Beach, the banks of the Mississippi, the dikes of the Netherlands, pretty much any historic area on the coast line of the ocean, or an island in it; etc.

Until it has been established by fact (not a ‘guess’) how much of the polar ice caps are floating ice and how much is actually land above sea level

then it needs to be remembered that when ice in a glass of water looks like the below photo, when the ice melts, it does not overflow the glass, because ice is less dense and lighter than water
