In his State of the Union address, Joe Biden made these claims that are laughably flat out lies. Real balls. Totally dishonest.
1. that he lowered the national debt by a trillion dollars. The national debt increased every year of him being in office to the current record high of almost $35 trillion or a record of more than 130% of GDP.
2. that he inherited the border crisis from his “predecessor.” Illegal border crossings are more than 5 times greater under Biden than under Trump.
3. that inflation was caused by Republicans and his “predecessor.” Inflation was only 1.4% when Trump left office. Biden actions to restrict oil production and for massive government spending caused the highest inflation in 40 years.
4. that prices are coming down. Prices continue to increase. Yes, the rate of inflation is coming down, but inflation is still twice as much as the Fed target of 2% and prices are still increasing as American workers lost 21% of their purchasing power under Biden that is not reversible.
5. that Republicans blocked what he needs to secure the border. Republicans put forward a bill to secure the border that the Democrat-controlled Senate refused to consider. And Joe Biden was the one who used executive orders to OPEN the border, so why doesn’t he use executive orders to close it?
5. that he created 15 million new jobs. He did not. These were mostly people who went back to work after the misguided national shutdown that he prolonged, to the detriment of the public..
There were other mega-gaslighting falsehoods but when does that guy EVER tell the truth about anything, but those 5 should be enough.
Mike Johnson, to his credit, sat through the entire barrage of bullshit and did not succumb to the urge to tear up his copy of the Biden speech, unlike the petulant jackass, Nancy Piglosi. did with Donald Trump.
Like Joe’bama, Nikki Haley has balls, if nothing else. She is holding out her endorsement of Trump to make him nominate her as his VP before she endorses him. It was all about Nikki, not America.

Mitch McConnell just announced his support for Donald Trump for president. And so did Thune. Romney is gone. All the remaining Republicans in Congress are now MAGA Trump supporters. The RINOs are coming home now that Haley is done. According to Rasmussen, given a choice between a Democrat and Trump, a record 92% of Republicans will vote for Trump vs any Democrat. Trump does not need Haley and neither does this faltering nation.
