An accidental heatstroke is being blamed for former NFL player Marion Barber’s death.

Former Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber III was found dead in his apartment in Frisco, Texas last month.

Police were out conducting a welfare check when they found Barber unresponsive in his apartment, according to reports.

The Collin County medical examiner ruled Marion Barber’s death an accident, AP reported.

“According to the autopsy report, a bathtub faucet in Barber’s apartment was running when officers arrived and the unit’s thermostat was set to 91 degrees with the heat set to “on.”” the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.

No other details about Barber’s death were released.

In a statement, police in the Dallas suburb of Frisco said the Collin County medical examiner had ruled Barber’s death an accident. A police spokesman provided no further elaboration on the circumstances of the 38-year-old’s death, and the medical examiner’s office did not immediately respond to a message from The Associated Press.

Editor’s Note: Life Insurance companies are reluctant to pay “double indemnity” on questionable “accidents.” Maybe his company will investigate further and perhaps make a landmark case for what we all know to be true. And just how can a heat stroke be “accidental” anyway? Because he intentionally turned up the heat too high? That would be closer to “suicide,” legally speaking, would it not? What a flimsy cover-up, but it shows us again just how pervasive and widespread the influx of dishonesty has become in this depopulation scheme.
