Liz Warren Pushes Maxi-Sized Bill To Attack Right To Keep And Bear Arms

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) seems not to have acquired the wisdom that Lao Tsu, the 6th Century BC proto-libertarian and founder of Taoism observed:

The more laws and restrictions there are, the poorer people become.

The more rules and regulations, the more thieves and robbers.

In fact, Warren just introduced a new bill that collects numerous other legislators’ attacks on the right to self-defense, and bundles them into one super-massive singularity. Without a hint of intended irony, she’s called her potential threat of government violence directed at peaceful gun owners (get this) the “Gun Violence and Community Safety Act.” And here are some of its most dangerous provisions.

First, it would raise the already unconstitutional federal minimum age to buy a firearm from 18 to 21 — because, as you know, anyone under 21 who’s purchasing a firearm is buying said firearm to commit a crime.

In fact, despite all purchases of everything being consensual acts, the very act of purchasing something is clearly evil. Clearly. And, yeah, only 18-year-olds who join the politically-controlled U.S. military can be “trusted” to carry firearms. All others must be suspected of being criminals just for existing.

The bill would also create a “seven-day waiting period” to obtain any firearm when one tries to purchase it. Because, you know, there’s that action clause in the Second Amendment that says, “…the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, except for the seven days Liz Warren says you can’t get a firearm, even though you might be stalked by a crazy ex-lover intent on taking your life.”

And, by the way, women (such as Carol Browne, of NJ, and Bonnie Elmasri, of Wis) who’ve had those feckless pieces of paper called “restraining orders” taken out against dangerous people have been murdered while waiting to obtain their gun for self-protection. It’s doubtful that Elizabeth Warren would enjoy having armed criminals impose their own arbitrary “waiting period” on the guards who protect her in the Senate.

Regardless, Warren’s bill would also REQUIRE that all Americans store their firearms the way she and her oh-so-peaceful pals in the tax-thirsty government would dictate. It’s unclear just what that storage containment field would be. Perhaps firearms owners would have to bury them in bunkers or store them on ships under the command of Captain Crunch, but whatever the stipulation the Warrenistas concoct, it certainly won’t contradict the human right to KEEP arms in any way.

Right?

Oh, and you know how more than 94 percent of mass shootings since 1950 have occurred in so-called “gun-free zones”? Yeah…Well, Liz and her tribe will, if her bill passes, tell all local school administrations that they must be “gun free school zones.”

So much for that “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED” thing, so much for federalism, and so much for the practical common sense to see that people with murderous criminal intent don’t care about the statutes supposedly banning “guns” in certain areas. Evidently, Warrenistas don’t understand that disarmament leaves people VULNERABLE.

Perhaps if she really were an American Indian — a population that WAS disarmed by the U.S. government, and subsequently slaughtered in many regions of America — Liz might better understand.

Her bill would also “create a voluntary firearms buyback program,” because, you know, the government owned the firearms in the first place. Makes sense. And it also makes sense that she wants to use YOUR tax money and that of your offspring (deficit spending) to give you money for the gun, so you’re really just circulating your tax money through the parasitic federal bureaucracy, which takes at least 30% of that cash to operate before it will give it back to you after “buying” your gun “back.” Okay.

Her bill would ban 3-D gun making kits and other kits to manufacture firearms. And it would ban the things aggressive collectivist politicians repeatedly portray as “military-style assault weapons” that could include the .22 caliber AR-15. And… of course, it wouldn’t matter whether any weapon were “military-style,” simply labeled that, or given any other descriptor. The right to keep and bear arms is inherent to human life. If one is under the command of others over how he or she can DEFENSIVELY USE A WEAPON TO PROTECT HIS OR HER LIFE, by logical interpolation, one can tell that those others DO NOT BELIEVE HE OR SHE HAS A RIGHT TO LIFE.

Duh.

Her bill would – of course – create a “Red Flag” confiscation mandate, destroying the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, and 10th Amendments in the Bill of Rights, setting armed government agents on people who have not committed crimes, and circumventing any concept of due process whatsoever. These laws have already seen police attack and kill an innocent man in Maryland.

Her bill would impose a 50 percent tax on ammunition and a 30 percent tax on new gun purchases, eliminate the current federal block on liability lawsuits against gun makers when criminals use their products to commit crimes (her kind of logic could see car makers sued for people using their products to murder others in hit-and-runs, to name but one example), and it would mandate that anyone selling a gun, even to a friend or relative, engage in a background check.

And there are many more onerous dictates. But the most delightful of this Warren smorgasbord might just be her mandatory gun licensing provision. It’s the kind of thing that not only stands as a towering infringement of the right to keep and bear arms which the Second Amendment was supposed to stop people like her attacking, it will put everyone who buys a firearm on government list. This is a registry.

This is precisely what the Nazi’s used in Germany and Vichy France to target gun owners for arrest and execution. And the Nazis didn’t even have to create the registries. They were created by the supposedly “freedom loving” regimes prior to fascist gun grabs.

We all know that Liz Warren’s Indian heritage claim is bogus, so, perhaps she’s from German or French stock… Perhaps she speaks those languages.

She certainly isn’t conversant with the languages of peace and individual sovereignty.
